Preschool Staff

Amy Kaufmann is the teacher for the preschool and Pre-Kindergarten classes at Trinity. She earned her Elementary Education degree with an Early Childhood Endorsement from Baylor University in 1994. She taught public Kindergarten for a year and then Lutheran Pre-K classes for five years before staying home with her children. Pastor and Mrs. Kaufmann live in Auburn and have three adult children, Andrew, Katie, and Laura. Mrs. Kaufmann enjoys teaching, spending time with family, going on picnics, and playing board games.

Mrs. Kaufmann has taught at Trinity Lutheran Preschool since Fall 2017. She seeks to provide a safe and nurturing Christian environment that promotes a broad spectrum of support for each child's physical, social, emotional, cognitive and spiritual development. In her academic and play-based classroom, children are introduced to a variety of activities and experiences resulting in learning that is fun. The Little Lambs Bible and Jolly Phonics curriculums are used to enhance instruction.

Our Classroom Aide is Miss Tori Ranson. She also rides in the preschool van to assist children in and out of the van. She has several years of experience working with children in the Scout Camp summer programs. She enjoys gardening, canning, and creating! We are blessed to have Miss Tori as part of our staff since Fall 2020.
